Introduction.

The Fado foundation & guitars of Portugal is founded in 1997, by Nuno Gligo.
The principal objective of the foundation is a promotion of the Portuguese culture and music, especialy Fado.What's already been achieved , after seven years of our foundation. The Netherlands is the second place where the Fado is mostly heard
 

We do not only do Fado nights , but we also give guitarlessons of Portuguese guitar , and spanish guitar,  we interfere when someone wants to buy a guitar And we give out information about Fado.

Fado has reached the biggest concerts in hallrooms with Fadistas from Portugal , and also Fadistas residents in Holland.

the Foundation Fado & Guitars mostly works with resident fadosingers because in the Netherlands there are very good Portuguese fadosingers. But we also work with fadosingers from Portugal.

We work with great pleasure with new talented fadistas.
